Brad, Christine and Eli.... living our everyday lives. We are having more fun than we ever imagined. Surrounded by God's love and our love for one another. It is rather beautiful.
A friend of ours let Eli borrow her daughter's walking toy. I know, I know... it's pink, but who cares! He loves to push it. I think he's going to be walking very soon.
Eli loves to feed himself. I found a neat device that allows him to self feed while eliminating the risk of choking. He loves it! It makes a huge mess but it's a lot of fun watching him enjoy his food. He was eating a banana in this video.
We recently had friends staying with us from Houston. They had to evacuate their home because of hurricane Ike. Eli had fun playing with their one year old daughter, Averi. Here are a couple pictures.
I bought a new car seat for Eli over the weekend because he has out grown his infant carrier. I installed it (rear facing) and had some sort of malfunction on the way to a friends house so I turned it around. He absolutely LOVED facing forward so much that we've decided to keep it that way. They aren't supposed to face forward until they are one year old and 20 pounds but we're close enough. You can see how comfy he was. That and it's SOOOOO NICE to be able to see that cute little muffin!
The museum is more and more fun each week now that Eli is so mobile. He likes to go off and explore on his own. Today Heartsong was doing a demo of their class so the music was really great today.
